  • Junior Ladies football: HRC v Attracta’s, Tubbercurry in Mountbellew

Naughton Scholarship for Eoin September 2016

Congratulations to Eoin Corcoran who has been awarded a Naughton Scholarship in recognition of his outstanding achievement in the Leaving Cert. Examination 2016 in which he scored the maximum points.
The Naughton Scholarships are a scheme to promote the study of engineering, science & technology at third level.

Eoin has begun his degree course in Engineering at NUIG.

 

Commissioned as Meitheal Leaders September 2016
Congratulations to Ciara Dolan, Andrea Delaney, Lauren King, Dean Connell and Ethan Roche who were recently commissioned as Meitheal leaders at a ceremony in Esker.. They have undergone training in leadership and will now bring their skills back to the school and become advocates of peace, justice and compassion among the student body. They are photographed with Sr Assumpta and Ms Ruth Conroy. (September 2016)

Athletics Success June 2016
Congratulations to Lydia Doyle and Jack Dempsey who represented HRC and won individual All-Ireland medals in the Schools' Athletic Championships in June and were selected to represent Ireland in the SIAB Schools Track & Field International at the Julie Rose Stadium in Ashford, England in July.
Both went on to win All-Ireland titles in the Club Championships and Lydia was again selected to represent Ireland in the Celtic Games in Swansea where she finished second.
Both students have huge Athletic Careers ahead of them !
