| Connacht Track & Field Athletics Finals |
|
Well done to all thee athletes who participated in the Connacht Finals in Athlone IT on Thursday May 16th.
The folowing medals were won;
- Minor Boys 1,500m- 2nd place Liam Boyle (126)
- Junior Girls 80m hurdles- 3rd place Kate Corcoran (240)
- Inter Girls Discus Final - 2nd place Nadine Connolly (303)
- Junior Boys Relay Team- 1st place Sam Lee, Colin Murray, Keith Whyte & Jack Dempsey.
Liam Boyle, Nadine Connolly and the Boys Relay team will take part in the All-Ireland Finals on June 1st.
Well done to all involved and a special thanks to their coach Ms. Aileen McNamara. |

HRC has achieved the “Centre of Excellence Award” from Prodigy Learning. It is the first school in Galway to achieve this prestigious award based on the results they achieved in Mircrosoft Office Specialist Computer Exams in Transition Year. | More Musical Success for HRC |
The HRC Transition Year production of 'The Wiz' has won yet another prestigious award.On Thursday May 16th, Galway University Musical Society (GUMS) awarded 'Best Overall Show' to 'The Wiz' and Rónan Raftery (Mountbellew) was awarded 'Best Actor' for his wonderful portrayal of The Scarecrow.
